At the top is a door that Mario must enter. ![]() Some stairs will then be visible, and Mario must climb them. When Mario gets to the first part of the room, he should lure away the Boo from its position, and press the ? Switch that it was hiding. Mario must then press the ? Switch and head left. What looks like the same room is actually different, as the Big Boo has 'turned into' a Boo. Then, the player must head right until they see a door. Mario must press the ? Switch at the end of the room and go in the right door. Mario must climb it to get to a hidden area with the third and final Star Coin.This Ghost House is a difficult maze, similar to the Ghost House found in World 5 in New Super Mario Bros. Star Coin 3: Right next to the stairs near the Goal Pole is a Hidden Block containing a Beanstalk.Mario must wait for volcanic debris to free it before it can be collected. Star Coin 2: Near the end of the section after the Checkpoint Flag is a protected Star Coin.Mario may use a Buzzy Beetle shell to get up to it. ![]() Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is on top of a platform near the start of the stage.However, volcanic debris may destroy blocks or damage Mario. After this, there is a ? Switch which, when hit, causes several platforms to appear ahead, allowing Mario to cross over the lava while collecting coins. ![]() Shortly thereafter is a Red Ring Mario may pass through to make eight Red Coins appear nearby, half of which parachute down from up above along with volcanic debris. Mario begins near a number of POW Blocks, which he may activate to get coins and other items from nearby Brick Blocks. ![]()
